I was given this plant many years ago by our friend Hans at Kakteen Garten in Germany. Hans has one of the finest collections of garden worthy, winter hardy American cacti. 'Pinky' is unlike any cholla that I've seen. It is moderately sized (3 4 ft H x 4 ft W), so it is comfortable in smaller gardens, unlike other imbricatas. The new growth buds in spring are HOT PINK! The incredible, large
