Hand-carved Wooden Whimsy trays as it feels great inI've only recently learned that carved wooden "whimsies" like this one are a thing, but I am glad that they are! Carved from one piece of wood, and often like this one taking the form of a structure with a few balls inside, I think they're a pretty brilliant expression of the skill and creativity of their makers. A wonderful little thing to have around, and a nice reminder that it is perfectly justifiable to invest time in doing things that have no
