Amazing Early 20th C.Ship Building Scaffolding Real Photo Postcard brittan animals and cracking to the surfaceI find this photograph pretty incredible, documenting the vast, elaborate scaffolding used for constructing what appears to be a steel ship. The image is a bit over exposed, but for me this makes the dense matrix of beams feel all the more delicate, skeletal, and rather otherworldly, and the shadows against the bow of the shop are pretty fantastic too. 3 1 2" x 5 3 8" with a postcard back with a few pencil scrawls on it. Very good condition.
