I've been paying some attention to antique folk pottery  jugs lately

8" long x 1 1/4" widest diameter of handle

making this bear look as if it's on a long

The head was clearly molded but the rest appears to have been hand-cut and welded together

Old Cutout Wooden Indian (or is it a bunny?) shiny black most clearly done for assignmentsWhat makes this good to me is that fact that it was left unpainted, such that the silhouette of what are surely meant to be feathers on a Native American figure also could be read as bunny ears! To my sensibilities, just right. 6 13 16" x 1 15 16" x 7 8". Good condition, nice dry wood patina. One small nick to the surface on one side along the edge of the head, minor.
