It is a bit ironic that someone more recently decided a couple of pieces of clear tape on the flowers side was an appropriate way to add reinforcement after looking at that stitching

has lost part of its side and is stained along the lower edge of the lid

was designed and signed by Rune Tennesmed of Sweden

Feels like it has a good bit of age to it and it really quite a beautiful

It could easily be removed but the linen is  fragile

Like a Wounded Heart, Much Worn Antique Tuscarora Beaded Strawberry Emery sandwich box It is a bit ironicThis strawberry shaped emery (like a small pin cushion but filled with emery powder for sharpening needles) appears once to have been entirely covered in red fabric, but all but a few tiny bright red bits around the top are gone, revealing the linen lining underneath. I like this darker color, and in all of its distressed ness, including what looks maybe like some scalding across the lower half, it looks to me like a badly bruised and wounded heart!
