Forlorn Hope "The Kerrigans", 2016 Greco 40% Cariñena100% Carignan from the Poor Ranch (Poor Family Vineyards) in Hopland, Mendocino County. 65 year old vines grown in volcanic soils. 192 cases produced. The Poor family (5th generation just born) has lived on this land since the 1880s, first started farming in 1920s, and the Carignan vineyards were first planted in 1950s. The Poor family farm is quite possibly the oldest farm in California passed down through a single family. The farm has been organic
