This gorgeous slab of petrified Cedar wood comes from Washington. It boasts a substantial size, aesthetic shape, well preserved growth rings, and intricate wood structure. One side has been polished to a glossy finish. Petrified wood is formed through a process called permineralization, where mineral rich groundwater replaces the original organic material. This process
